KRIS KROSS

Kris Kross will make you jump jump.
Or crash crash, proof of training right here, or proof of no skills.
Its cross season here in Melburn, and with my early arrival back to town and some help from the dudes at DDCX and Cycling edge I have been able to have a crack at a couple.

This is the sweet bike they set me up with, and after hearing how much it is worth I thought I had better push on the peddles and see how fast this thing can go and try to get a result.

The cross really fits in well with my all action hero lifestyle, riding, running, jumping, so after the first one it was time to do some cross training for cross training.

Got myself some runners and started running around the parks with a bike on my shoulder jumping shit.

Thought I better get a full body workout, so I got myself a bodysurf fin, Im going with the same theory of time in the knicks, so hand in the fin is as good as bodysurfing.
The next cross race is this weekend so I will find out if any of this cross training is doing anything for me.

HERE THERE AND EVERYWHERE

Time, time, time, well it is about time I stopped abandoning munningabout and pumped out a blog already.

It is also that time of the year again, when you have to pack up all your shit and move to the other side of the planet to get ready for the summer.
So it was goodbye Bristol, welcome back Pascoe vale.

So with my departure luming it was time to tick a couple of boxes, one of which was to visit Bath and look cool, tick, tick, tick, done.

Another, somewhere I have been trying to get to for the last 5 years, SPAIN, yep made it to Barcelona, booya.
Pucking awesome place, found a few dingy little bars to eat and drink. Tick, tick, tick. Done

Back to Melburn it is, hasnt been a very tough winter so far, 18-23 everyday.

This has been the order of most days so far, biking and coffees.

With the sun shinning what better way to spend an afternoon then pulling some sweet tricks down at the ramp on the blades.

IRELAND

Made a trip to Ireland to try and become a "Man of the RAS"

The sun did actually come out at one time, so I quickly snapped a pic of it, I think this is the first ever actual sighting in Ireland.

The place is not so bad, they do have Guinness that I did become a big fan of wile in Ireland, I have since heard that it is much better in Ireland then anywhere else.
Probably the only thing I think.....

There is also some pretty cool pubs, see insert, Im now on the search for a Munners pub.

This is Matty.

We did stay in some nice hotels along the way, and enjoyed some lovely potatoes.
I spent an evening rolling around on the floor in this hotel.

There was also some really cool design work in a few of the hotels, I think every bathroom should have a door with a window to it.
The people are nice in Ireland I will give them that, and the grass is really green, and there are lots of rocks, and they do like potatoes.

FYXOMATOSISING

Probably the reason and main influence for me starting this little blog of mine was a good mate of mine Andy White, who has this megga cool sick totally radical site fyxomatosis.com

So I thought I might do a bit of fyxomatosising myself.

Armed always with a camera in hand I have been able to snap a few fyxomatosisingesk shots.

Brooks is for sure the number 1 choice of saddle here is Brizzle town.

For a hilly city I am surprised by the number of fixys that are kicking about.

Old school VW Scirocco, not quiet a delorean but close.
Megga cool car.

One of our past times in Brizzle is chasing cars around.

Cant go past a true classic, you just never know when you might need to jump into a game of 3on3 down at the courts.
The last thing you want is to be jumping around without any air flowing around your feet.

KOREA

Haawohh
Back in Korea......... I love it when i get to eat my words, yum yum yum.
I raced the Tour of Korea in 2007 and after not really enjoying myself very much at all, I may have been heard to be saying that i would never go back there ever again, but I did.

So after my last visit to Korea my expectations where not very high at all, but I was keen to turn my perceptions around about this country.

I think just about anywhere is good if you have good weather, bit of warmth and sunshine can make a pretty shit place seem ok.
Last time round it was like this everyday, pissing with rain and dirty filthy roads.
This time though was sunshine and warmth for most of the week, bar  one day that has giving us plenty of convo.

Something I did notice when I was there was all the signs they have around, which did become a bit of a nuisance, I dont know about everyone else but I always carry a birthday cake with me when I go into places, so every pucking time we went out somewhere i had to sit at the front door and eat all my cake.

This one is outrageous, no spitting inside a club!!! get the fuck out of here.

!!!

I found out what this one says at the bottom.
"If your hanging out with your mate looking cool in front of doorways, there is strictly no running off on him if one of the doors open"

We did make visit to the very famous Bogwang dong.

There was a nasty virus going around the Bogwang Dong, which some of the guys caught, very unlucky.
Second time round the once very shitty South Korea was actually ok.

THE POSTCARD BANDIT

You've got mail.....
I really love receiving post, and I have made this public.
So you could imagine my delight when I walk through the door and the post lady has been with some goodies addressed to me.

I have been getting some post cards in the mail lately, but they are from a mystery sender/senders.
This was the first.

After I had received a couple of them I started a bit of detective work, now I have my theories, and my suspicions.

I think there might be two senders, three of the post cards are related to each other, they are sent from the UK with no stamp.

The other two are stamped, one from Marrakech, and one from Jersey.

I really love this one from my "jersey milk maid"

I will get to the bottom of this, I will press on with my interrogation and investigations, and find out who this mystery sender/senders are.
Im on your tail.
Watch out.

GOT MY SWAGGA BACK

The street jaunts are back on, shirts are off, cider is flowing.

The creep room/amazing awesome viewing room.

All the things I love in one.
Rachel.
Coconuts.
Greek style.
What a combo.

The Jamaicans know how to make a refreshing drink that is chewable thats for sure.
And once your finished with the refreshing drink you can use the can as a weapon or weight.

The BUSH might look simple but shit it can pump out some DUBSTEP.
A must have at any BBQ/DUBSTEP house party.

Such a shit language.

ST WERBURGHS

St Werburghs

When I was in Brizzle last year I came across some plots and thought it was just someone garden, so I showed a glowing young ruffian, Tom Southam and he found it very funny that i didnt know what a plot was.
So at my new hood there is a really big plot just down the road, I really like how they look in the city.
A little farm land in the city limits, I love it.

Some would say that my new hood is very "edgy" maybe it is.
I say it has character.

I really like this little cottage.
Found it on my explorations.
